PCOS Support

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is one of the most common conditions I see in clinic, yet it’s also one of the most misdiagnosed. Many women are told they have PCOS based on irregular cycles or cysts on their ovaries alone, but a proper diagnosis requires a full clinical picture.
That’s why step one is always confirming the diagnosis. I recommend having up-to-date blood work (12 months) before a PCOS consultation so we can rule out other causes of irregular cycles and be sure we’re addressing the right issue.

Key Blood Tests for PCOS

To properly assess your hormones and metabolism, I recommend checking:

-
LH & FSH (ideally on days 2-5 of your cycle, or any day if your cycle is missing)
-
Estradiol (to assess estrogen levels)
-
Testosterone, DHEA-S, SHBG, Androstenedione (to check androgen levels)
-
HbA1c (for blood sugar balance and insulin resistance)
-
Prolactin (to rule out other causes of irregular cycles)
-
Thyroid panel: TSH, T3, T4 (TPO if thyroid issues are suspected)
-
Iron, Ferritin, B12, Vitamin D (for energy, mood, and overall health)

My Approach to PCOS

PCOS can be frustrating, but with the right support, you can feel better. My goal is to help you balance hormones, regulate cycles, and reduce symptoms so you can get back to feeling like yourself.
Here’s how we do it

-
Supplements targeted to your specific needs
-
Blood sugar balance & nutritional support to keep energy stable and reduce insulin resistance
-
Gut health support to help with digestion, hormone detox, and inflammation
-
Herbal medicine to naturally support cycle regulation and lower androgens
-
Stress management to reduce the impact of cortisol on your hormones

While PCOS will always be part of your health story, I firmly believe you can live symptom-free with the right approach. You deserve to feel balanced, energised, and in control of your health.
